One of the ways I like to give back to my local communities is by donating photo shoots to various school events where they are bid on to raise money for the school. Education is so important to me (my dad was a teacher for 30 + years, and I almost went to school to become a teacher) so any way I can help our local schools, I’m all for.
This family won a one-hour gift certificate at their spring fling and they knew exactly what they were going to use it for. Their youngest son’s first communion celebration! Family and friends gathered at a beautiful beach house on Plum Island where Jonny was the center of the celebration.
No detail was left out for this first communion party. Cookies shaped like crosses and altar boys. A cake with Jonny’s picture next to a congratulatory message. Beautiful mason jars with little notes that read “Jonny’s First Communion”. And the view was to die for. Overlooking the beautiful ocean with a private beach, where we took many pictures!
The house was gorgeous. The people were incredible. The weather was sunny (although, we could have stood to have less wind!). It was such a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
