Let me just start off by saying how much I loved being able to do this shoot. It was so special to be able to capture these photos for this family, and something I truly hope I can do again. It’s not often that you are able to get a picture with four generations. You’ll definitely recognize two faces in these photos as I had just done a super cute spring session with them just a week prior.
Let me back up a bit.
When I posted the information about my spring mini sessions, Charlene immediately reached out to me. Her mom had been wanting pictures done with the four generations since Miss B was born, and when Charlene saw the mini sessions, she knew it would be the perfect opportunity, since they were just before Mother’s Day.
There were certainly times during our session that I had to hold back tears, purely because I enjoyed being able to be a part of this shoot. I could relate too. Up until I was 12, we had four generations of women on my mom’s side. I was so grateful to be able to know my great-grandmother and we have plenty of pictures of it. And I knew even though Miss B wouldn’t remember this shoot, she would always look back on these images of the four generations and smile.
This shoot was special, touching and full of love and smiles. Thank you Charlene for letting me capture these pictures for you.
