It’s already May. And I’m thrilled because it means the gross, cold winter is behind us! I’ve been meaning to post this one, well, since the beginning of April and I kept forgetting!
At the end of March, right before the first show of the season, High Tail Acres holds a show camp for their riders and on Sunday, they hold a pot luck lunch and present their teams for the season. I’ve been riding there since I was kid, and now as an adult, I’m instructing my own little beginners on the weekends, but I also love cheering on our show teams and photographing them!
The presentations fell the day before we left for Las Vegas, but I wasn’t about to pass up an opportunity to spend some time at one of my favorite places. Below are some of my favorite shots from the day. Since this day, the first horse show of the season has come and gone (and they had a great one at that!), but here are some fun shots from before the season even began!
Happy Show Season! 🙂
