I’ve known Jillian since we were kids. In fact, I’ve known her whole family since we were all young! In fact, I’ve done other sessions with Jillian when I first start Eryn E Photography, to build my portfolio, and I’ve done sessions with her sister Brittany, and her family, as well. It’s a family affair.
When Jillian and Stefan got engaged, I couldn’t wait to start planning our session. She had told me a few months prior that when it happens, she’d be calling me, and I knew that it was going to be a lot of fun. She’s super creative, and has done enough photography with me to know how I love to get creative.
We met at Maudslay on a perfect fall evening. The weather was beautiful. The light was beautiful. Basically, everything about the evening was perfection. We scurried into the park to get a few shots in the gardens and the trails before heading back to the parking to capture some of my favorite shots of 2016.
Let me back up. I got to the park before they did, and while I was waiting Jillian said they would be there in just a couple of minutes. They had stopped at her parents house. When they pulled in, my eyes immediately zeroed in on the couch sitting in the back of the truck. THEY BROUGHT A COUCH. Something I’d been dying to do on a session. I couldn’t have been more excited. And with the way the light was filtering through the trees, I was giddy.
But first, inside the park.
While Jillian and Stefan changed into their formal wear (!!!!) I captured some shots of her STUNNING ring.
Then it was time for the formals. Obsessed is an understatement. Congratulations Jillian and Stefan!
