After a very successful set of mini sessions in 2015, I really wanted to do something new for 2016. At the end of 2015, I started to receive request after request for holiday mini sessions, and it seemed like an absolute no-brainer to pursue for 2016. I announced them over the summer, and within 24 hours, almost 90% were booked. Within 48 hours, they were completely sold out.
I had hoped we would have a little bit of snow on the ground for these sessions, or even a flurry or two during the weekend, but it held off. Our first day was filled with golden sun and beautiful temperatures. We had Chickadee Hill Farm‘s entire tree farm to ourselves, and it was just lovely.
My first session of the day was a family I first met in May, and had seen them for every mini session throughout 2016. I loved seeing them again for the final mini of the year, and it’s been wonderful to watch the boys grow this year.
Also, can we talk about how cute the reindeer hats are?!
