There’s nothing like shooting on the beach in the summer. As you’ve seen from many shoots, the beach is one of my favorite places to shoot. I think nearly 85% of sessions are held on the beach in the summer, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
When Tori and I connected, and we discussed what she was looking for, I was thrilled to meet up with her. It was a senior session of sorts, but instead of needing the images for the yearbook, she using them to apply to some Sorority’s at the college she was attending in the fall.
The whole day leading up to our session was gorgeous. I mean, perfect summer weather. And just about 10 minutes before our session started, the wind started whipping. I’m not talking sea breeze. I’m talking like 20-30 MPH gusts. It was INSANE. In fact, we had to make a last minute change to our location and to another part of the beach because the wind was so intense! But Tori was a trooper. She completely rocked her session, despite the wind and was a total natural in front of my lens. I had tons of fun with her and wish her lots of good luck with school this year!
